The reason I chose this particular image for The Thing Itself is that it appears that this particular image appears to have been taken late morning or early afternoon, when it was taken after sundown.

Your "Thing Itself" picture is really interesting. I like how the grill is rusty and there is a plant going up the side. I would have never known that it was taken at night! :)
ReplyDeleteI liked the "slow shutter speed + tripod" image. It's neat that everything is clear and detailed except the guy on the mower.
ReplyDeleteI really liked your The thing itself photo. I love how rustic and old the grill looks, but then the bright green vine growing up it just brings the whole picture to life. I also like how the flash made it look like it was during the day instead of at night. Cool how you can manipulate scenes.
ReplyDeleteI like the night photography with the tripod because it looks erie.
ReplyDeleteI like the slow shutter speed + tripod. The background scene is pastoral with the old barn and buildings, while the figure on the tractor is zooming by! Quite a contrast here! Old versus new!
ReplyDeleteI really love your slow shutter speed w/ tripod picture. The guy on the tractor reminds me of someone you'd see in a scary movie, it's really contrasted with the background.
ReplyDeleteI like your night photography with Tripod! It reminds me of pictures taken in NYC of busy streets and such
ReplyDeletei love how the detail photo looks like a painting
ReplyDeletethe slow shutter speed and tripod is so cool, it makes it even better knowing that it is a tractor.
ReplyDeleteYour slow shutter speed photo is an interesting topic in itself. The idea of a lawn mower moving fast enough to cause motion blur is comical and unexpected.
ReplyDeleteMy favorite was the night photography with the tripod. I am so fascinated by the detail that all the immobile things have and the mobile things are not distinguished.
ReplyDeletei love that look of night time photos that look like day
ReplyDeleteI love your slow shutter speed photo, that looks so fun to watch!
